OK, i have done tons of installs with systems with and extra battery and extra Alternators... but i have never ever tried to tackle anything this big before. I know all this stuff can fit in the car physically but i just need to know if i can supply the power to the beast as needed. So how much current draw do you think ill get from six 2000 watt amps... and yes they do actually put out 2000w clean... well close enough to it. Ok here is what i know... They use 1.4 Amps at idle ( don't really need to know that cuz they aren't gonna ever be idle. The book says that in operation they use 30 Amps or more.. emphasis on the MORE. I know that i will be running two strands of 0/1 AWG wire ( 1 strand per 3 amps ) and have that split up into either 2 or 4 AWG wire... doing the same with the ground wires. And i also plan to have one battery per amp... im thinking that'lll help out a bit... along with two 10 Farad capacitors. And each of the Amps will be wired down to 1ohm. I know i will probably be pushing maybe 300 or 400w to each sub during daily driving i just don't want any catostrophic failures to occur in the SPL lanes( MECA M6 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smokin.gif.f1dc8d2acb1809e863ebd6a47eaa0d45.gif ). OK would two High output Alternators be enough 200+ amps each or would i need some kind of super alternators put in. I know that the Electrical system will need upgrading but are there any special things you guys in Extream situations use for your isolated circuit loops. I forget what they put on my dual alt/ dual batt system.. think it was a relay but not sure. But what all do i need to make this work... BESIDES MONEY... and a budget for new windows. Or will I need to downgrade to 4 15's? Also moving me to Modified 4 i think. Correction I will still be in M6

[QUOTE="bigred78797, post: 382809, member: 545232"] Hey guys it's me, As you guys know if getting prepared to start on my new project that's in my sig. OK, i have done tons of installs with systems with and extra battery and extra Alternators... but i have never ever tried to tackle anything this big before. I know all this stuff can fit in the car physically but i just need to know if i can supply the power to the beast as needed.
