<blockquote data-quote="Blazin_Jason" data-source="post: 1351540" data-attributes="member: 563679">I got a little something to add here as well.&nbsp; On christmas had to go to my g/f&#039;s grandma&#039;s for dinner.&nbsp; Her cousin was there talking to my g/f&#039;s brother in law about his system.&nbsp; Brother in law asked the cousin why he had his box in the backseat of his car and not in the trunk.&nbsp; He went onto say that in the trunk it sounded like crap and in the back seat it was much louder.&nbsp; Because in the trunk the amount of air that your trunk has is what acts like a box.&nbsp; So because there isn&#039;t as much air in the trunk as the inside of the car, its not as loud.&nbsp; Also his pyramid amp is 2000 watts and inside the car he only needs 1200.&nbsp; But it&#039;s still enough to dim his headlights real good.&nbsp; He proceeded to mention a lot of other BS, but I don&#039;t remember it all.&nbsp; Mainly he asked the brother in law what size magnets he ran when he had subs in his car before.&nbsp; He got a good ol blank stare for that dumb as question.&nbsp; Trying to say that one could change out magnets at will and the bigger the better.&nbsp; He had 2 12&#039;s in a bandpass box, that was mdf and carpeted, with plexi in front and neon!!!&nbsp; He also mentioned that he is really picky with his setup and can adjust his bandpass from his deck for the box.&nbsp; He&#039;s a know it all about everything and I didn&#039;t even bother talking to him.&nbsp; They must have talked for about 20 mins, with the brother in law just egging him on to see what other stupid sh!t he would come up with.&nbsp; I wish I had a tape recorder to remember what else he said.&nbsp; It sure was amusing.Jason</blockquote>
