Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Sonny, and I've been lurking here for quite a while and just recently signed up. I'm an Ex-IASCA competitor from the Kansas City area. I havn't competed since 1993, I just got burnt out since I was also doing lots of car and truck shows too. I still have part of the last system I had installed in 1998, it's a JL 3 10" box, and 2 Xtant amps, a 301, and a 4180c. I've had the same car since 2000 and havn't even bothered to put a system in it. I've recently got the urge to do something again. The above equipment is in very good shape with low hours on it, so I'll probably use it again. I'll still need speakers all around and a new HU. All of my Cables, fuse blocks and wire are in good shape. I'm not building a competition system, just something that's unobtrusive, but sounds good. I think I've decided on a Pioneer 880PRS HU. I've never used Pioneer before, it's always been Alpine, Clarion, or Kenwood, so Pioneer will be new for me. I havn't made a decision on speakers yet, in the past I've used both MB Quart, and Boston's in different systems. I could go on and on, but I basically wanted to say Hi, and Thanks for providing a Great forum. I wish I'd had the Internet, with all this info. back in 1993, LOL! Regards Sonny
