I just cant stomach the fact that Priests did things like this knowing that they could by using the religion that was supposeably so sacred to them.</strong></p><p></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p></p><p><strong>Also i didnt grow up an atheist, i was raised in a 1/2 christian 1/2 catholic household and did all the way up to my confirmation. At 18yrs old i found out that the priest in my old church i formerly attended (the one that baptised me, etc) through the years had sexually assaulted hundreds of children throughout the 70s and 80s.</strong></p><p></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p></p><p><strong>It made me nearly vomit when i found out someone who i thought was the closest thing to god and was so close with me and my family could do someothing like that. </strong></p></blockquote><p></p>
