I once had an amplifier that would turn on and play a loud bass hum when I would shut driver's door a bit too hard. This was with the system turned off, no key in the ignition. Since your amp played a random bass note, I would say replace/return that amp. No need to try and salvage it if you just purchased it.</p></blockquote><p></p>
