All of a sudden this morning i hear a sound through the speakers like the amp was going out and i wasnt beating or anything and boom car dies and then cuts back on all of a sudden. Then of course no sounds check the hood fuse which is a 300amp fuse for the 0 gauge is blown. So my question is for that to happen what could of happened to blow that big of a fuse and cause my car to die out like that. Now if i touch the power wires together without the fuse holder the wires start to burn so is something touching? Any suggestions would be really helpful.
Well i would like to say hello to everybody in car audio world im new here. So my problem is this. I have 3 12 kicker CVRs running on a massive audio 1500X1 and polk audio components running on a massive audio 400X4. I have 0 gauge wire running for power and 4 gauge going to the amps. Oh yea before i get beat up yes i have a cap i just havent had a chance to take it out so i can put a battery back there cause i know it does nothing. I also have a crossover back there to. Im at work now so i cant go out there and mess with it but i will on my lunch so i just need a starting point to look for issues. Thanks in advance.
