Message: <blockquote data-quote="-Sin-" data-source="post: 1695919" data-attributes="member: 565742"><p>OK I have a polk audio 300.2, 150 per channel but the birth sheet states 180 into 4ohms.  So using 180 I should get a voltage of 26.83 (sqrt(4*180)).  My subs are assassin 8's which are 4ohm svc rated at 350rms.  Now when I check my amp's voltage I get 40+volts!  I can turn the gain up all the way with out the subs distorting.  Am I doing something wrong?  What does it sound like when the amp clips?  I have all the settings on the radio flat if that helps.</p></blockquote><p></p>
