I have a voltage meter that is reading 13.5 at idle. Now why would my voltage be that low. I just replaced my alt with a brand new one and have a red top under the hood. I have had to have this battery recharged and it has went dead several times from my old alt not working.  Is it time to get a new battery? Also have the big 3 done with 4 gauge, I know its not 0 but its all I had at the time. Any help to get this thing to 14 volts would be greatly appreciated thanks.</p></blockquote><p></p>
