yeah basically that is what happens when i have the mids tuned where i want them my subs arent putting out what id like and when i have the subs tuned to what i want the mids do distort some but mostly its when i have my volume adjust turned up so that i can get my mids to the volume where i can actually hear them ( typically at about 11 or 12) they start cutting out i believe the term is clipping? im somewhat a newb when it comes to car audio although my professional field gives me a pretty much general knowledge of the subject im no where near adept. so you would say that some bass blockers ( bass caps as i call them lol) should help how about the addition of another amp for my mids since i think it may be that im pulling too much current off the amp with the speakers im trying to run causing it to cut out. and in your opinion what would the addition of an equalizer do? is that a wise choice or is it somewhat a pointless waste of money? thx
