Ported subs have a good deal more output than sealed subs so in the end they can take up less space than two sealed of the same size. Smaller subs do not have better SQ or quickness and low tuned ported boxes can sound great, so with the low amount of money you have to work with this is a pretty good option that will yield very good results. Two tens will work fine but you will end up going with a lesser sub since you will have to fork out money for two.</blockquote>
