hello, my name is tom. i own a mitsubishi colt 2009 and have one problem the standard stereo and speakers are complete trash. I went to halfords and bought myself the new edge 10 inch sub woofer with built in amp as well as 4 edge speakers. My friend said he would fit the equipment at no cost. As far as im aware he run the sub and amp off the speakers since he couldnt run it off the head unit. He fitted two small edge speakers in the back but couldnt fit any in the front since he couldnt get the door panels off. I got my car back two hours later and the sub and amp were fitted ok and it all sounded correct. However he has made a complete mess of the inside door panel and not only scratched the paintwork but snapped the plastic attached to the door. That however is not the only problem. After a couple of days my speakers started to distort at quite a low volume (around 16 and max vol is 45) and there is hardly any sound coming out of the two speakers he fitted in the back as well as in the parcel shelf. The two speakers in the front are 15w stock speakers but in the back and parcel shelf are 70w rms edge speakers. I have tried the equaliser and everything is set to 0. My idea is either he has wired it up wrong or the headunit isnt putting out enough power. Any advice would be excellent. Tom C
