I just bought a Pioneer 880prs, a usamps xterminator 1600.4 hoping to run active by the end of the night. I have had no problems with my Sony deck, re 12.1 and cheap crunch amp before i proceeded with the install this afternoon. After running all the speaker wires to the doors and brand new rcas to the new deck i tested to see how it would sound. When i shut the car off, there is a pop sound from the front speakers after i take the key out the ignition. I double check everything. I have 2 amps, but no sub hooked up and the 4 channel is hooked up to my components. I reground my amps and the head unit (sanded down the surface and still the same issue. I've searched and searched and i knew that pioneer had a bad reputation for the noise issue, but there is no noise when the car ison, its only when i turn it off there is a loud pop. I am also running all my rcas and speaker wire down different sides of the car. I am going to try grounding the rcas on the head unit but if it does not work i really do not know what to do. It's just a bit odd that i would have an issue just by swapping an amp and a deck.
