[QUOTE="Partagas, post: 823556, member: 560453"] I have just bought 2 S10L74s along with a Soundstream 1700D and I want to put them in my 2000 Rodeo so not knowing anything about building a box (other than 4 pieces of wood glued together) I went to a local stereo shop to have them give me a quote. The guy says $350 for a sealed enclosure that will take up half of my cargo area. Does $350 sound high for a basic box design that will fit snug with the back of the Rodeo? He also said something about an amp rack on the back side closest to my rear seats but I don't know what he means by that. I was trying to figure out if I can build something smaller that will look better than some bigass box and is there a program that can be used to do it? other than autocad... Or do I just need to do it the old fasion way and measure everything out and get a carpenter friend to help me. One more specific thing about box building is that I don't want what I put in the car to be easily taken out. so can i build part of the box in the car and screw it down to the body and then finish it while it is in the car?
