Hey guys, I'm looking to get feedback and opinions on the following please. Just finished my installation consultation with a CA store who is known to be the best in my area at installing and most important tuning systems amazing. Not your typical BB crap. This is going up costing more than I expected on the install 1500.00 so hope it's worth it. I know they are the best around DFW but ****! If I didn't have back issues currently I'd knock out the speakers and amp myself and just have them do the Dsp and tuning. I'm going to have them do the installation and tuning of the following on my 2011 Yukon Denali, doing Bose Premium bypass Arc Audio XDI 1200.6 amp Focal K2 165 KR components in front Audison bit Ten D processor and DRC Install 2 Bulk packs of Dynamat 10445-all 4 Doors, front floor to firewall area and rear gate/door Tune the Bit Ten and system I am supplying Stinger 8000 RCA's and Knukconceptz Kolossal Flex OFC amp kit and quality connectors. Already have a 12" JL 3v34 ohm sub in custom built to JL specs sealed box behind third row. He's pulling out hertz DSK 165.3 from front doors and rears have RF Punch 6.75"3-ways He is going to run the Focal K2 165R's active in the front. (I've never run an actual set up) My question is below- He wants to leave the RF Punch 6.75" speakers in rear but rear but only powered by Bose factory system. The Hertz DSK 165.3's I currently run upfront are getting pulled out. Wouldn't there be better for the rear than the RF Punch? I know I could run passive and then amplify F&R door speakers. I'm sound deadening all doors and I thought the Audison Bit Ten D would make everything sound amazing? Would I lose that much SQ in the front by going passive so I could run rears to my amp? I thought the dsk components would make for a decent rear filler? Keep in mind I have a wife and have 3 kids who will be watching DVDs and listing to music in 2nd and 3rd row of my Denali so having quality sound in the rear is a must for me. Sorry for the long-winded thread I just want to make sure I give you guys all the information needed to help with opinions and thoughts. Thanks in advance for the help.
