I'm thinking that maybe after awhile the headunit is putting out enough power to support the highs. I just have 4 basic 5 inchers, one in each door and 2 in the back. I dunno what is causing this, but I was thinking, I do have another amp, what if I some how wired those 4 speakers into it and see if that fixes it? Is it also possible that the head unit is getting to hot inside the dash and having some kind of effect on it? I also noticed when Im going faster [as oposed to sitting at a red light or something] it doesnt really cut out the highs? Something maybe to do with a power issue? Any suggestions on how I can figure it out what the issue is?
So I have a car system and for some reason after listening to it for awhile the treble will start to cut out, and even when i turn the volume down it still kinda cuts out, not as bad though. Also, I have Pioneer DVD flip out head unit, and when I open the screen out, it highly effects this issue also. Like if I leave the screen closed, the highs dont really cut out, but when i open and slide it out, the treble starts cutting out. Like i said it happens more so after of use, say about a half hour of use. I have a alpine amp powering my 2 sony xplode 12s, and the bass is fine, never cuts out or nothing.
