I hope this is not the case, I actually spoke to the guy today and told to me to just buy the yellow tops for the back... stick to the stock alt and charge the batteries at night, every night.  He said he advices to do this because the 200 amp  alt will, when loaded (stereo on) put a tremendous level of stress on the belt and pulley to turn it and therefore robbing the motor of up to 25hp!!! so no way do I want sacrafice performance for audio, the car is already that much heavier with that box in the back.I don't just want to put aside a high performance amp... so what are my options?? He also said I could wind down the alt... wtf do I do with this system... :stuck:</blockquote>
