I'm having problems with the system and its power, this is a description of what you see:</p><p></p><p>Pioneer AVX-505 &amp; AVMP5000 Audio/Video Unit (Dated)</p><p></p><p>Audio Control Overdrive</p><p></p><p>Audio Control Epicenter</p><p></p><p>Audio Control EQT's (2)</p><p></p><p>Audio Control 4XS</p><p></p><p>Rockford Fosgate Punch 400x4</p><p></p><p>Rockford Fosgate Punch 40x2</p><p></p><p>Rockford Fosgate Punch 200x2 (2)</p><p></p><p>Kicker Solo-Baric Competition 12's (2)</p><p></p><p>Infinity Beta Five (2) Mids and Infinity Beta One Tweeters (2) housed in custom Sound Q door pods.</p><p></p><p>Optima Red Top up front and (2) Optima Yellow Tops in back (all dead from storage) (New 800 CCA battery was installed for sale)</p><p></p><p>Ohio Generator 200amp Competition Alternator (uninstalled)(New factory TT alternator just installed for sale)</p><p></p><p>All power, speaker, interconnects are the high end Monster Cable</p><p></p><p>So as you can see there is alot of bump here.... but what i would like to do is tone it down and make it a daily driver system. The competition alternator was taken out and the batteries are dead. If I were to buy new batteries the Alt and batteries would hold me for maybe 6 months then die on me. I was thinking of winding down the Alt to maybe 140-160 pulling the batteries and filling them in with 12 single farad capacitors.</p><p></p><p>If anyone here has any suggestions to making this a reliable system pls give me the know how. If you agree with my idea let me know what are the best products for this project. (capacitors, more cable?, batteries again?) the simpler the better</p><p></p><p>thanx guys!</p><p></p><p>ohh also if anyone has a cheap idea for the cosmetic work needed to cover audio...
