I was able to get the plate off and put the belt around the gear selector and motor. I also found a manual for a similar deck (7280mlses) with a belt size of 16-16.3” (belt number 42A40969F01). This post (https://www.rtsauto.com/alpine-cm5905-cm5907-and-cm5908-radio-cassette-belt/) has a similar belt path but they recommend a 17" belt. I also used a piece of twine to measure the approximate belt path and it came to about 17 1/8" without any tension. Between these to posts, I'm just not sure which belt size to go with. I'd buy each of the belts but online, they are charging between $5-$10 each without shipping, so I'm trying to only buy the belt that I need.
