I think I gave everyone the impression that there is a problem. That isn't what I meant at all. My imaging is spectacular. I think I would shed tears in joy if I was ever to put a DVD player in my SUV and setup the surround sound. The gist of the situation here is that I know there is an empty 3 1/2 slot in the dash that I considered putting my tweeters in when I got my components. I tried my tweets in that spot as well as about 8 others and decided on the place that they are located now because thats where I got the best imaging. I was just wondering, since the space is empty, if I could add a 3 1/2" and it would bring my vocals and midrange instruments forward even more and add to the timbre a little bit. Thats all I was saying. I love the way it sounds now, but we audioheads always want to try something to make it better. I was just asking for a recommendation on a small speaker that sounds great and isn't harsh to put into that spot. Sorry if I wasn't as clear as I should've been. Thanks for the help though. Anyone got any other ideas for the speaker besides Alpine and Infinity? Preferably something with a softer tweeter than those two. My MB Quarts already have a titanium tweet up front so I'm as bright as I need to be. I'll be needing a warmer sound with these. Thanks!
