Message: <blockquote data-quote="BrianM905" data-source="post: 346382" data-attributes="member: 549675"><p>i just got a lightning audio strike series capacitor...model # LSD10DT-03.  it didn't come with very helpful instructions so i have a few questions to ask.  it says that it has to be charged before installation, it came with a charge card...do i hook up the card to the capacitor as instructed and leave it there or do i have to take it off?  It also says to use the same guage wire from the battery to the cap &amp; the cap to the amp.  the cap that i have has a built in distribution block, what i was planning on doing was running a 4 guage wire from the battery to the cap and then use 6 guage wire to the amps. i don't really know that much about capacitors so these might be simple questions but i want to do this right. thanks</p></blockquote><p></p>
