ok, so i got an orion 1200d and i finally got my alpine type r dvc 4 ohm. i hooked it up (i think the right way at 2 ohm) by going from the + and - on the amp to one voice coil and then from the other set of + and - on the amp to the other voice coil. i kind of guessed on the gain and didn't do it properly, i had it set about 2/3 of the way. i noticed a few times when i was listening to it the sub would just cut out, then a few seconds later the sub played again. finally when i was driving up town the sub quit playing. when i got back home i saw that the orion would not turn on. the power light was off. I can't figuire out the problem. All i have is a voltage tester, which lights if there is voltage present. There is power going to the amp, and there is power in the remote turn-on wire. The fuses in the amp looked good, and there was no smokey smell or anything. Does anyone know what the problem is? Help would greatly be appreciated. 1 more question: On the orion 1200d there is a switch labed GAIN, and it can be switched to COPY, MASTER, and can be halfway inbetween. What does each thing mean? Thanks
