so i have no sound going to my aftermarket equipment, however the hu still sends a signal to the stock speakers ( rear) so i installed a pioneer 4900 in november from crutchfield ( just running stock equipment till christmas for aftermarket equipment. earlier january i install everything ( components, sub and an amp that is in tri mode) No sound at all, called crutchfield and we concluded that it had to do with the rca outputs on the headunit. ( we hooked up x box to amp and it sounded, all good, as well as checked to see if it was not rcas, it was not either). So i returned the pioneer from crutchfield ( great support!) and bought the same unit from another website the same model ( dont wanna mess with new wiring and all that). Once installed like 1-2 weeks ago, sound came out!! Everything worked so it proved that it had to be that headunit with the rca outputs. Now 1-2 weeks after having it installed, there is no sound again ( but if i re-hook up rear speakers there is sound) So im wondering if something is wrong now with my car and the way the wiring was all setup because this is the second time i have had this problem ( with the same h/u, the pioneer 4900 ib). I used knukconceptz wiring 4 gauge 4 channel amplifier kit and my dad helped me out since he is really good with wiring and electronics. So i dunno what it can be, any help would be appreciated!!
