Okay so i have this planet audio amp. http://www.planetaudiousa.com/main/488 And soon two of these planet audio subwoofers(warrenty replacement is having to upgrade me to the newer stuff) http://www.planetaudiousa.com/main/606 Okay so my amp runs 1000rms at 2ohms, or 1400 at 1ohm. These are dual 4ohm subs, so when i go to rockfords wiring guide i see running them together its either 1 or 4 ohm I can run them like this, but the subs are 600 rms so overall it will be 200 rms more than what they can handle. Im trying to aviod blowing them even tho im sure they could handle the extra power. Also i dont want to have my lights dim as i know at 1ohm 1400rms it will(pretty bad too) Or what i was thinking is. Running them seperate like this at 2ohms. So i would be having two set of wires come out the amp terminal. Will that still be 1000rms at 2ohms? I would liek to just run the 1000rms at 2ohms, just want to make sure its not droping it still down to 1ohm. thanks.
