You guys kill me. I am glad you like kicker and whatever else you named I never said what I had was the best, it is what I like. This board is not JL friendly but before JL Audio was big they had a small location called Speaker Warehouse in Hollywood, Florida. They were trying to make a name for themselves and did my Mustang which was trick for the time (PPI amps and I can't remember the speakers). Jim and Lou where the owners which is what "JL" stands for and I supported them. They were great guys and I liked there work. The reason there are so many amps and speakers are for different goals, I always like those guys and I have had good luck with all my JL stuff since 2000. Is there better, I am sure but I like there stuff. Guys on this board seem to love Rainbow's which can be very expensive and everyone says MB has gone way down hill, I liked them in my last two cars but if they don't sound good I will swap them out. Everyone has different tastes and budgets so I don't have anything bad to say about anyone's stuff this is just what I like.
