Hey , i just installed my new amp for my RE XXX 15. I replaced my 1200 watt Orion with a 1500 watt Ampman Revolution amp. The jump from 1200 watts to 1500 was noticeably louder. Man, 5 minutes after driving with the music on, i got pulled over by the cops for noise violation:spank: They were cool tho and let me off with a warning. I havent gotten pulled over in 8 years for that. I was wondering, how do i tweak the settings on the amp because it sounds loud but i have the gain at the maximum? Is that not good? Some of the midbass notes are weaker than they should be. I just want to set it up the recommended way so i have a starting point, then i'll tweak it a little for my likeing. The knobs on the amp say "level", "15 - 40" and "50 - 250". Where should i set these for my amp. When setting these up, i believe i heard that the music should be at 75% volume. Is that correct?
