Okay, I read the rules of this forum, I'm not asking what the best sub is, nor anything like that, I am however asking for some help from someone or someones who can help me get a good general idea of speakers, amps and a head unit. I am buying a '86 GMC standard cab. The most my expertise entails is wiring a head unit, i can wire one in like 5 minutes or something but when it comes to the rest of the system, i'm stupid, I am looking for maybe 2 small subs to fit behind the bench seat of that old GMC, I've got a pioneer 6700 HU, (I was reading something on termpro a long time ago, Pioneer needs to be grounded a special way, can anyone enlighten me on this?) But am eventually planning on changing the color of the truck, so it means i'll gut it, paint, and add sound deadoner, best brand? Brown bread recommended? and I would like the truck to beat pretty good, but not a comp. rig, What would anyone suggest, for a small truck, 2 8's, 2 10s? I know i asked alot of questions, but i need help getting started, i learn real fast, once i get started on something, but here I am at a loss. Thanks fellas, PFC Pierson, U.S. Marine Corps.
