[QUOTE="Mckenzie, post: 962808, member: 556520"] Hi Everyone, Well its been a while since i last posted here. I am currently running an all alpine system in my car right now. Its a 1993 Acura Legend Coupe. I have Alpine MRD M500 Amp Alpine 10" Type R Sub Alpine Type R 6.5 Components Alpine Type R 6x9 Rears Alpine V12 4 Channel Amp (F340 I think) 2004 Pioneer Deck (mid range...fairly decent) As of now, the system has ample bass with the sub. For other reasons, I would like to get rid of it and just work on the 4 speakers and amp setup. Now coming from a Bose system, I had a ton of bass with just the four speakers. I have no idea what it is (you guys probably do) but Bose systems have a great amount of bass for just speakers (although they sound like poo sometimes). The only thing I have come close to in this department is an old Pioneer Premeir amp and an old set of kicker 6x9s....that setup for some reason sounded like little subs. this alpine system though sounds so thin and flat without the sub. So what I am looking for is maybe some amp and speaker recomendations for the 6x9s maybe (I would rather keep the 6.5s in the door) that would give me a better bottom end, like Bose. Someone had mentioned that aftermarket speakers have a flatter response and that bose amps have a huge loundess setting, but I am not too tech savy in that area. Thanks for any recomendations!
