Message: <blockquote data-quote="onebadtwo" data-source="post: 6765948" data-attributes="member: 569874">OK...  I'm stuck between the Kenwood Excelon KDC-X494 and the Alpine iDA-X303.  Over the last probably 10 years I have had nothing but Alpine, but the iDA is extremely ugly.  I'm not entirely scared off by the lack of CD player but, their new policy of having to have their imprint box to adjust anything does scare me a lil.  I had a Kenwood Excelon years and years ago (it was the first to have the flip around face), and I loved it.  Anyways, I'm looking in the sub $200 range for a new headunit that controlls an ipod.  I don't care if it's flashy or chrome coated.  I like having adjustability.  I just don't know if I'm willing to give up on Alpine just yet to go back to Kenwood, even though my gut is telling me to, atleast in my price range right now.Curtis</blockquote>
