[QUOTE="keep_hope_alive, post: 8317573, member: 576029"] i don't know why that head unit has two ground wires, the manual should say. in theory, if both cameras are the same frequency, then you could use one receiver at the head unit (receivers "receive" the transmitters which "transmit" or send the signal from the camera). but you want to run the front camera on V Aux so it needs a separate receiver. if both cameras are on the same transmit frequency you only want one camera powered at a time. if it were me, i'd have a 5-pin relay provide power for the transmitters with N.C. to the front and N.O to the rear. The relay coil would be powered by the reverse lights (which also ties to the brown HU wire). the relay common pin and the receiver would be powered by the HU ignition wire. when not in reverse, the front camera would have power through the N.C. relay contact and you can switch to that view with the HU source V Aux. when you put the car in reverse, the relay changes and powers the rear camera and the HU view switches to the V. Camera input. if you only want to use one receiver then you'll have to add another switch into the mix - one that provides 12V to the backup camera wire (brown at HU). this would bypass the need for the reverse lights to be on and you'd view whatever camera is powered (front is normally powered in my scheme above). i am headed out of town otherwise i'd sketch up a relay diagram. if you can't figure out what i'm saying above, try to draw it out.
