What I am looking at are two 12 inch Rockford Fosgate Punch HX2's with  dual 4 or 2 ohm voice coils and have 200 watts RMS for each Voice Coil So 400 watts per sub. My question pertains to the amplifier though. Would I want a 2 channel amp or a mone amp to power these babies and how exactly would I wire them. I figure I would wire them in parallel but I want to know exactly how that is done. Now once this is clarified I would like to know how much power each sub is actually receiveng. I am pretty focused on the dual 2-ohm version and I sort of know how to wire them to get 2 ohms of impedance using a mono amp. How much power should the amp put out to power the total of 800 Watts RMS of the 2 subs (4 voice coils) Can the same be done using the 4-ohm version w/ a 2-channel amp. This is kind of a lot of questions but I love this stuff, but I have problems understanding some things. I know most is based on opinion but any help would be greatly appreciated.</blockquote>
