[QUOTE="LoneRanger, post: 507590, member: 540903"] first off, you're going to need more than 34.5 square inches of port for a pair of subs that need 4 cubes (i'm guessing a pair of 10's or 12's) i'd go for 1.5x34.5 or 1.75x34.5 for 10's or 12's respectively. If by chance you're using 15's, you could go as high as 2x34.5 or 2.25x34.5 depending on your application. I'm not doing all the math for free, especially since I've been preaching on people to learn to do the formula themselves (IT'S SIMPLE ALGEBRA!!! IF YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO IT BY NOW, IT'S ABOUT TIME YOU LEARNED!!) So the numbers I'm providing are quick calculations from WinISD Beta: 35hz (1.5x34.5)x14.75 (1.75x34.5)x19.25 (2x34.5)x23.75 (2.25x34.5)x28.5 30hz (1.5x34.5)x24.75 (1.75x34.5)x31 (2x34.5)x37.25 (2.25x34.5)x43.5 all of these calculations assume that the box is 4 cubes after all displacement. NEVER EVER EVER EVER figure the outside dimensions first. Figure out how much space you're going to need after all displacements are figured, then using the max dimensions of the place where the box will be mounted, come up with a combination of width, height and depth that equals 4 cubes + port and subwoofer displacement.
