I have seen the Fosgate amp clamp as much as ~1480rms, incredible for an amp rated at 1k. I have never seen that HiFonics bench lower than ~1700 (only tested 3 of them). So based on my experience with said amps, it is highly suggested that he take this bet not only to prove that his amp does alot more than his buddies suggestion of 800max, but also to prove that his buddy isn&#039;t as knowledgeable as he thinks he is. This is the perfect way to kill two birds with one stone!</blockquote>
