Just bought a new 2013 Subaru Forester and have a budget just over $2000. Can any of you list the ideal parts to build an audiophile system? Listen to Jazz and classic acoustic rock. Dont do rap or electronic beat music at all. But I want Stevie Nicks and Tom Waits voices to have weight. Magic is in the midrange I guess you could say. Also, I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 loaded with 24bit and 16bit flac files from HDTracks.com. Paid $25 an album. So USB connection is a requirement. Also, at least 7" screen double din. I read that JL Labs and Pioneer Stage4 stuff is nice.... Below are the two head units Ive been looking at that support my phone. On the T-mobile support forums there is a user that is successfully using his Samsung S3 with that Pioneer AppRadio2 but its lacking and buggy. The new Sony isnt out yet but just annouced full support for the Samsung S3. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Sony XAV-701HD Introducing MirrorLink Pioneer - AppRadio 2 ; select Android® devices-Ready In-Dash Receiver Introducing MirrorLink™ An overview of the next wave of smartphone interactivity
