Message: <blockquote data-quote="mikeyboc" data-source="post: 2032634" data-attributes="member: 563895"><p>When you put them in a different box, they are going to sound different.  You also have to take into consideration that a sound wall or demo room offers no characteristics of the environment you will get in your car.  The install plays a major role in the performance you will get out of any given sub.  If you have the cash to go above entry level, I would recomend it.  If you like CVR's, there are pleanty of people on here that run them and have been pleased, keep your eye out for a good price and pull the trigger.  Just make sure to explore other options such as Alpine or some others in your price range to make sure you make the most informed decision you can.</p></blockquote><p></p>
