Anyways, we managed to get everything hooked up and working, everything works fine, but during the install we blew a fuse in the frunk (the Dome/etc. fuse), so we replaced it and everything seemed fine. Now the headunit works fine but when I get the volume up pretty high (like to 22-23) the entire unit turns off and about 2 seconds later turns back on! Whats going on? Does this have something to do with the fuse we blew or what? I like to play some of my music fairly loud so keeping it at a lower volume just isnt going to cut it.
Heres the story. I had an Alpine headunit (9845 I think) installed in my last MR2 along with new Kenwood speakers and a Bazooka tube. I took everything out of that car and put it in my new 2 and during the install I found out that the PO had removed the stock wiring harness and wired their aftermarket cd player all crazy! Any help is very very much appreciated!
