[QUOTE="jimf, post: 8899227, member: 693655"] Hello, I come to you all out of desperation! No, I don’t have an amplifier that is overloading, rather my brain is on overload trying to decide what amplifier to buy for my car. I have been on line for days and going down many rabbit holes. I have a third gen Camaro with a stock delco radio/cassette with Bluetooth added internally with the 6x9’s in the sail panels and the 4x6’s in the dash. I have upgraded the speakers already. I do not wish to upgrade the head unit. I have an “in spare tire” sub that I am very happy with. I am actually OK with the sound from the fronts and rears but when I turn the radio all the way up it’s got a bit of noise that gets old. You can hear it mostly between songs but it bothers me. I’m sure things would be better if I didn’t have to turn the volume of the head unit up so high. So many amps I can’t make up my mind so I thought I would seek some advice. Here is what I think would be best for me: - around 100 watts per channel, need high level inputs - would be great to have an rca out to feed the sub in the spare tire. (There would be no “input” to the amp for the sub. Currently I have the high level input to the sub tapped off the rear speakers. - I have seen that some amps have built in blue tooth audio streaming. This would be a nice option. Can I assume that switching to this source would eliminate any noise injected by the head unit? I would stream 100% of the time. I would like to keep it under $500.00 if possible. Any suggestions?
