Ok so I have 4 alpine speakers and an Alpine head unit I bought to put in my 95 jeep grand cherokee with the Infinity Gold Amp. Keep in mind I know nothing about car audio and am trying to use the internet to teach me how to install them. Now From what people have told me I cant just plop in my head unit and speakers I have to either Bypass the amp completely or buy some sort of converter thing for it. (because the amp is 2 ohms and the speakers are 4? ) First of all what is this converter peice people are tellin me and how do I go about installing it? Or would it be easier to bypass the amp ? or is what im hearing BS and i CAN just plug in my new Head Unit and speakers and not have to do any of that? If theres any more info on this u guys could throw at me that u think i would need before i screw somethin up let me kno. As of right now this is all i know haha. thanks!
