Insurance is the biggest scam in the country period. Now I amnot condoning insurance fraud in any way, but here are three examples from my experience that just make me puke when it comes to auto insurance: (1) - My father hasn't had a ticket or an accident of any kind in over 12 years. So, the insurance company (State Farm) says to him when his renewal came up again, and I quote; "...we will be raising the cost of your premiums by 25% due to our policy of 'timely accident and loss'....this means yourslef and/or your spouse are due for an accident or unpreventive loss due to the length of time you have been with us with no prior claims or violations" - WTF??? In other words jack your rates because you are a good driver?? SCAM! (2) I was with Chicago Motor Club (AAA) and no violations/accidents for my wife or me in over 5 years. I was paying roughly 900 a year for full coverage on one car and medium coverage on my to/from work car. I get a renewal bill after two successful years with them saying my new policy premium is going to be 1450 a year! I called and they said its just standard that premiums rise! What a crock of sh*t! (3) One of our biggest clients where I work is Allstate. They recently did a major update to their entire customer base, dropping over 35% of all customers and then raising premiums by over 50%. Now Allstate is reporting biggest money gains ever. Gee wonder why you freakin' crooks. Bottom line its all a big joke and unregualted so they can do as they please. Between insurance, the IRS, and Gasoline companies its hard telling who is the biggest crook in this country?
