[QUOTE="Annihilated, post: 8684534, member: 678033"] So! I'm trying to find out what the difference would be if i put my current woofers into a vented box that's properly designed. Right now I have 2 Diamond Audio D312d2.2's in a sealed box. each woofer only has .75 cu ft and they both want 1.0 in a sealed application. (theyre 12" 400w 2.5" vc woofers and 6 years old) One of the subs at max excursion makes a clapping or rattling noise and it seems they're pushed to their limits or maybe one is even damaged. Either way, here is what im trying to do. I want to learn how to use Winisd to compare sub woofers and enclosures before i buy or build anything but im having trouble. When i put the parameters in according to the guide it autocompletes and looks right but then nothing ever appears on the graph when i try to map it out. ive tried doing it in different orders and letting it autocomplete but i cant get it to work. Attatched is the manual for the subwoofers, if someone could help me out with Winisd that would be great!! Also side note and overall thought, is it worth moving subwoofers im already bottoming out into a new enclosure or should i bite the bullet and move from the 400w each range to the 600-800w each range?
