I am powering a alpine type S SWS-1242D sub at 2ohms When I set it higher than 4 I can hear a sound like a fan from the sub. Then when i turn off the head unit a big pop sound comes from the sub and it moves with the pop. The other nobs work fine just the sen nob can not be adjusted to a higher level. I also have the 8.0:4 and the 4.0:2 and they work fine at higher than 4 sen. Its not the woofer because i tried it with many other amps that i have with the same rms and watts. I disconected the rca cables to see what it would do and it still did the fan sound from the woofer.thanks</blockquote>
