I currently have an IDQ 12D4.Im having a box built for me for it. Initially I thought about making the box 1cu ft ported tuned to 32hz for the IDQ. IDQ lists that as their "small" rec. enclosure. Now, I am considering buying an RE SE sub as well. I realize that on RE's site they recommend 1.8cu ft for an SQL enclosure. tuned to 32 hz as well. Would my 1cuft box that Im having made work for that RE SE? Or will there be a huge discrepancy with that lacking .8 cu feet? I suppose I could Just get a 1cu ft sealed box instead and satify the Large enclosure spec from IDQ, and the SQ sealed spec from RE. Would that work? bottom line: i own the IDQ, interested in trying the RE SE. what box will satisfy both subs? Any suggestions?
