I personally have always like the dinky guitars from Jackson. As for the building up the Ibanez, I would say isn't really a more inexpensive solution because EMG pick-ups are fairly expensive themselves, and I dont like sustainers. If you want more sustain the best solution is to buy a neck-through guitar, or something of the like. My Gibson LP Black Beauty will sustain a note as long as I could want it to. So.......I say buy the Jackson, and be happy with your purchase.</p></blockquote><p></p>
