My personal preference is a  7-11 band parametric but am happy with a 1/3rd octave. Overall an eq's ability is no better than the owner of the equipment. Kind of like an engine tuner. You can have the same engine tuned 10 different ways, some ways ****, some are great. Just depends on the skill of the tuner.</p></blockquote><p></p>
