Yes I know about the xs 6.5's, and I also know they are planning on new IDQ8's at some point in the future... but its ID we're talking about (I still want an IDOne and IDMax15's)... they make great stuff, but dont hold your breath. lol Ive also seen alot of midbass drivers come on the scene that were suppose to be superior, only to fade away... people still talk about their old IDQ midbass drivers like they wished they'd never gotten rid of them. So I figure, go with it. But something about the sound of IDQ's brings me back to them. If I hadn't found this second set, Id have gotten another set of xxx's and ran them till the XS's or new IDQ's came out. Horns are CD1pro's (cant fit the neo's without ALOT of work) and Audax PR170MO's... so I was wanting more than just one pair of midbass drivers to try and bridge the efficiency gap. I followed your install thread closely req, they came out beautiful looking. I have a plan for my doors, but I need to do a little more research. My doors are semi-fancy with pockets down low that span the entire length of the door. If I cut it, I'll have to fill the whole thing. Id like to find some plain-jane door panels to cut up.
