I got the ID CSX-62 set today from member eykang! I am so stoked! They are 2 ohm with a power rating of 125 RMS. The amp I was looking at did 250RMS at 2 Ohms. This is going to overpower them a lot. Should I move to the amp below and get the one for 160RMS instead or is it good to send them this much power? The manual says to never send them over 200 RMS, but eykang said they would do well with the 250. Just wanted to get more opinions especially because I could save some $$$ with the cheaper amp if it will sound better (or just as good). But if they will sound better with the higher power amp I am all for it. I am going to bridge the rear channels to run a sub off of it, so there needs to be some power when bridged. For these speakers should I get: MB Quart 4125 250x4 (originally planned) or MB Quart 480 160x4 (seems like more in line with these speakers) or suggest another (punch 1400, soundstream pcx4.540......not sure of these or other brands performance as I have no idea what I am doing!) for under $150 (online or on ebay - I don't mind referb)
