They have a steel panel on the inside of the doors which separates the interior from the outside layer of the door and the speaker mounts on that panel. I used a mounting bracket from Crutchfield (which I had to cut to fit) and I used some double sided weather seal strip around the edge of the bracket. There are some small rivet and clip holes in the metal panel though. I didn't think that this was enough to really mess up my sound but I guess its possible.</p><p></p><p>When I get some more time to mess with this I'll take some pics and post them here.</p><p></p><p>Have you guys ever heard of an amp putting out weak bass and midbass?
