It is getting a frame off resto, and its not gonna cost me $4500 to get it into better shape. I've already replaced the drivers door and tailgate, the only two body panels that had damage. The rest of the stuff is just rust and dirt. I've been quoted $500 to media blast the frame and other parts so that they will look brand new, but we have another place that will do it cheaper. And yeah, its going to be a custom truck. Custom paint, interior, etc. $4500 goes a long way when you do the work yourself and have a lot of connections. Don't get me wrong though, its a very nice truck. I guess I just went down a different road, got a cheaper truck and just doing lots of work on it. Though sometimes I regret getting it in the condition it's in, but oh well.
