Hey Guys! I am the stage of designing a box for a new system. The original plan was to just build a ported box to fit two SoundQubed 12" subs or one 15" sub. Below is my trunk space and measurements : http://i.imgur.com/94MLF9B.jpg http://i.imgur.com/gSIXdZe.jpg Then, I came up with an idea! What if I removed the false-floor and used the wheel well as a potential place to mount my speakers? Below are pictures of the wheel well and measurements: http://i.imgur.com/BJcgS2N.jpg http://i.imgur.com/669zhfP.jpg http://i.imgur.com/QUGAjBm.jpg You might be wondering why I stopped at 12 inches out of the wheel well. SO! The idea went further and I wanted to have the entirety of the wheel well used for speaker and be able to cover it up with the false floor when I need to do that (Trunk space, sleeping in trunk, etc). So now my question is in regards to using maybe one singular SoundQubed 15" sub (or maybe three 8" subs??) and fiber glassing the whole design. Fiber glass model the wheel well, then fiber glass the top perfectly to fit right under the resting edge of the false floor. Use aero ports to allow for multiple insertions at different spots. Does this idea seem feasible? Based on my measurements, does that even sound like a good idea? I am open for any type of feedback at all! I want it all so I can really get a good grasp on this before I make any concrete decisions.
