*sigh* Mike? Has the thought ever crossed your mind that perhaps the reason you're so unpopular as a mod is due to the fact that you bring it on yourself through the direct effect of your actions? I have no beef with your personally. I'll even publicly state that my bet is that outside of this forum you're probably a pretty likeable fella. But within the confines of CA.com? You let your pseudo-mod powers go to your head and I'll wager there isn't a person here who has been a regular participant for any appreciable length of time that will disagree with me. Since Goob has already stated that a new mod election is on the list of things to do I'll additionally wager that your days as moderator here in any capacity are numbered. Through whatever agreement you and he have that allows your limited moderation abilities perhaps I am wrong - but if you retain said powers it will decidedly not be because the member base voted you back in. You're ban-happy, Mike, and it angers many people greatly. Are all of the bannings that you see fit to enact unwarranted? Certainly not. I feel confident enough to guess that more than a few of them were completely legitimate actions that needed to be done. On the flipside of that same coin, however, how many times have we seen you ban someone simply because you didn't like what they had to say? Mike disagrees with someone so *POOF!* away they go. No TOS violations, no Forum Rules violations, just that Mike didn't like what they had to say or disagreed with their view on this topic or that so Begone With Them! It's generally less popular members so you don't catch huge amounts of flack for it but that doesn't make the uncalled-for banning any less wrong. I've called you out about this on multiple occasions myself. No, do not ask me for any specific examples as I cannot recall any at the moment and do not care enough to go searching for them. If you are any degree of honest with yourself you'll know exactly what I am talking about - several times over. But this is merely one man's opinion and maybe the case is that I am alone in my view on this...but I'll bet that isn't the case...
