This past year I took my dad to a rather nice course in fountain springs WV. It's a very beautiful and challenging course. My mom and dad bought me a new ping g2 driver for my birthday, so I had to try it out. I'm not too fond of the watermelon size drivers. But it was a gift so I figured I would give it a whirl. 4th hole is a dogleg par 4. Normally I break out the three wood and cut across the trees. Most of the time it's either on the green or very close. This time I decided to bust out the new driver and see what happens. I teed the ball up, took my usual aim over the trees, and let her rip. I hit a screaming line drive about 5 ft of the ground, that disappeared into the woods instantly. The fairway is about 50-60 yds wide and straight as an arrow for 595 yds. So I figured I would give the g2 another try.
